a different way to shop….

In early 2022, the Maker & Mineral shop changed to a release based system in which the shop opens with specific designs and patterns until a predetermined “capacity” is reached. The shop might stay open for a full day or 30 minutes, so it is often best to make sure to be on the site as the page opens and have your size/ measurements on hand!

Shop updates happen about once a month and are split into different categories, meaning not ALL Maker & Mineral items are available during a release. For example, if there is a made-to-order “half n’ half” release, there will be dresses, tops, pants, and jumpsuits available in our set half n’ half colorways along with custom “choose your colors” half n’ halfs, but printed pieces will not be available! And if there is a made-to-order “handsy” release, only pieces with the handsy print will be available!

Periodically there are readymade releases. These items are already produced and ready to ship, but cannot be customized. Sizes and measurements will be listed! During Readymade releases there are usually a range of styles, sizes, and colors available, but again, made to-order pieces will not be available.

sizing…

Because releases can happen quickly it is best to know your size ahead of time. Check out the size charts here or if you would like a custom fit, there will be a ‘notes’ section at checkout where you can enter: your BUST (measure around the largest part of your chest, not underneath), WAIST (smallest part of your torso), and HIP (the fullest measurement around your butt) measurements as well as your HEIGHT! Please make sure that your measurements are correct as custom orders are not eligible for return or exchange!

what if i miss the release ?

These releases will happen again!!!! So if you aren’t ready to shop, can’t be online at the time of the release, or if the shop closes while you’re browsing, the pieces WILL BE BACK! Because Maker & Mineral is a one woman show (hi!), I close the shop when I reach my personal production capacity for the month. I wish I could take on all your orders, but I need to make sure I can actually get everything done in a reasonable time frame!

can I order something while the shop is closed ?

the answer is probably not, but maybe?! I sometimes have gaps between production, so you are always welcome to reach out to makerandmineral@gmail.com if you are really urgent for a piece or if you missed a release. I might be able to take on another order, but it really depends on how busy I am at the time!
